Some history
The origins of Saint-Paul-en-Cornillon go back to the Middle Ages, where a monastery was established on the banks of the Loire. Today, as a testimony of the past, the Château de Cornillon, whose walls were built in the 11th century, is perched on the very top of the rock.

Chapel Saint-Antoine in Cornillon
The bell tower is registered in the Additional Inventory of Historical Monuments.
The tomb of Marshall camp Boudinhon
Born in 1771, he dies in Cornillon in 1846. This famous character participated in all of Napoleon’s campaigns and was injured 17 times.
The Mont Fayn
In 2001, an orientation table was added which represents a remarkable panoramic viewpoint over the Loire Gorges and the Pilat. Accessible from the Daffodil lane (chemin des Jonquilles).
