Dated back to 1850. Quite narrow and slender, it is of a composite style, though the Romanesque name dominates.
Many Castles
All along the road that joins the Forez plain, were set up in the 19th century the rich industrials. In the parks they built beautiful Renaissance style Castles. There are at least ten on the right side of the road, on the first slopes of the Mounts. For many, they are private properties.
Training center for sports jobs
Opened in 1997, this center hosted great teams during the 1998 Football World Cup and the 2007 Rugby World Cup. It today hosts the ASSE team.
The Vivert Towers
Historical Monuments
It is a fort house from the middle Ages. Now a farm, it has kept its surrounding wall and its two round towers with loopholes with rotating stones that masked them from attackers.
From here, you can contemplate the view of Villars, the Ondaine peaks and the Haute Loire.
