The guardian of the Ondaine Valley (Vallée de l’Ondaine in French)

Some history
The commune has had a rural past and is associated with the manufacturing of nails.

Château Dorian
Essential visiting
The Gonnière woods : Fraisses has preserved wonderful nature spots, in particular the Gonnière woods, a vast stretch of land which has been exempt from any modern buildings.

The Marcel Constant park : A former park which later became a public domain in 1960.

La Madone du Pin The guardian of the Ondaine Valley : It is known as Notre Dame du Rosaire and the view from this site is exceptional. What makes it special is the fact that it opens out over the sixteen bells situated between one and thirty kilometres.

Suggestions for outings
Fraisses has some wavymarked footpaths from the town centre (centre bourg).
